Goofy extraterrestrial

TV’s UFO Revolution is Nothing But Revolting

There’s a bit of snark recently making its way across social media from Bizarro Comics that depicts one-eyed, four-armed, green aliens with bulbous heads engaging with a woman walking her dog after disembarking from a flying saucer in the background. One extraterrestrial being says, “Take us to your leader.”  The human responds, “Only if you promise to take him back with you.”

What’s not funny about this comic is it’s from 2017. I knew the disheartening sentiment was familiar. Problem is, this time around I also feel that way about a great deal of the populace still supporting this insanity. Because they are the actual pathetic problem.

Nowhere has that been more prevalent for me (other than a recent gathering within my over-55 community where the sane are inevitably subjected to inane comments by clueless cult members parroting everything heard on Fox News) than unfortunately in a TV show I found surfing Tubi yet again for something palatable to watch.

TMZ Presents: UFO Revolution is not that show. Not only is it not palatable, it’s often puke-inducing—in terms of the imbeciles interviewed for this crap billed as, “An in-depth look at the key players sparking a UFO revolution, sourcing and releasing evidence that the government knows much more than they let on.”

Please.

Of course normally I would be thrilled that such a supposed documentary exists, but this show only “releases” toxic drivel by rightwing nut-wings who bash the government (despite some being part of the government) no matter what the subject matter. The kind of feckless folk who like to think they know something others don’t, that they have the inside scoop as provided to millions of morons by Newsmax.

Hence, I feel tainted by subject matter association, given I once worked for the federal government and now write books about alien visitors among us in my Other Worldly series.

It was the newly released three episodes of Season 2 of TMZ Presents: UFO Revolution that caught my attention as promoted by Tubi; but I also slogged through three episodes of Season 1, presumably aired last  year based on its contemptible content. Because one might presume they were busy attacking the federal government because their cult leader was not currently president.

A journalist named Jeremy Corbell is featured on this program claiming to want to distance himself from the hucksters of fake stories about aliens and UFO encounters that hurt the credibility of those actually interested in the truth.

Credibility?

That’d be just dandy if this show didn’t also repeatedly interview a particularly vile Congressman from Tennessee named Burchett—yes he’s a Republican—who is as caustic, idiotic, and derisive of government while spewing muck on TV as he is while flapping his fascist gums in the once-hallowed halls on Capitol Hill.

To wit (or lack thereof), Burchett’s hillbilly accent makes him sound even more ridiculous than he is, and he, quite frankly, doesn’t know what he’s talking about. No surprise there. This dude isn’t a “key player” of anything, he’s just a player. And a poseur. Especially when it comes to UFO and/or aliens.

And did I mention how TMZ Presents: UFO Revolution also airs clips of the egomaniacal Elon Musk and his plans to dominate space?

Enough said.

One thing this poor excuse for an in-depth documentary proves is that people who don’t want the truth about anything going on in this country or happening to this planet (as in climate change) also don’t want to learn anything resembling reality when it comes to potential alien visitors from outer space.  Especially when they openly and proudly hate what they call “illegal aliens” known as immigrants from other nations who don’t look like them or speak the same language.

For manipulators like Musk and Burchett, it’s all about exploitation of hapless humans they can dupe and natural resources to be squandered in a relentless pursuit driven by greed and fueled by ignorance.

My guess is aliens can see that and aren’t as fooled by charlatans as MAGA minions are. Chances are, those coming here from other universal locales are smarter than that, and wiser than the banal buffoons in Congress featured on the revolting TMZ Presents: UFO Revolution.
